Biographical
Robert A. Korn is an active litigator, focusing on all aspects of construction and surety law. He handles matters such as contract negotiation and dispute resolution through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and trial. Robert represents public owners, owner/developers, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, fabricators, design professionals, insurers, and sureties. Robert’s services are in demand as a mediator and arbitrator. He serves on the American Arbitration Association’s Large Complex Case Panel for construction disputes and is one of five attorneys in Pennsylvania selected to serve on the American Arbitration Association’s Master Mediator Panel.
Prior to joining Kaplin Stewart Meloff Reiter & Stein, P.C., Robert was a founding principal of the firm, Korn & Cohn, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Robert serves as counsel to the American Subcontractors Association of Delaware Valley and is a past chairman of the Attorneys’ Council of the American Subcontractors Association. He was selected as the first Chairman of the Construction Law Committee of the Real Estate Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Robert is a frequent speaker on construction-related topics and has authored numerous articles for publication.
